UPDATED 11th March 2012 And then things went rather quiet didn't they? Sorry about that. Unfortunately, barely had I updated the site with the 16th January page than the proverbial sh1t hit the fan in my personal life. My beloved mother, Edith, who had had a fall that Christmas took a turn for the worse, was admitted to hospital and by early February had passed away. I miss her dreadfully. Dealing with her funeral and her estate proved to me that Satan exists, alive and well, and he and his minions are working in all financial institutions you ever have to deal with. While I was able to give my mother a decent funeral, between them they managed to send me over the edge financially and I had to file for bankruptcy. To say I was depressed is an understatement. I was finally able to restart my life away from my father by moving to Barrow-in-Furness where my firm had based my job and continued to pick up the pieces. In September 2010 I had an epileptic episode, the first for over twenty years and no doubt brought on by the stress of everything that had happened. This also stopped me from driving, which was inconvienient but not a disaster. Now, to refer back to TARGET ONLINE, since then, I have really concentrated on the main part of the site i.e. CHAMELEON CIRCUIT and TARDIS KEY. After all the disasters that have befallen me over the last couple of years, if I'm to work on anything, it's to be in my own interests, not to drop me in hot water with anyone again, especially as I am now a discharged bankrupt as of January 2011. As you know I was considering resubmitting ROSE to see if I could get permission to novelize the scripts RTD made available for free as PDFs. When RTD moved on, I assumed his team would also move on, as most of them have regularly shifted around over the years. However, watching the last DOCTOR WHO CONFIDENTIAL of the first Matt Smith season in 2010 proved there was no reason to consider doing anything of the sort - EDWARD RUSSELL IS STILL THERE IN THE SAME JOB - HE EVEN WENT TO NEW YORK WITH MATT & KAREN AND WAS THERE ON CAMERA ON THAT DWC! I hoped he would move on the following year, but unfortunately he's still listed in the same position so there's obviously no chance of things changing policy-wise. As I had a second health scare last week - another epileptic attack - I've decided that unless he departs there is no point in my doing anything else with the site and can't risk making my novelizations available, even on a one-to-one basis to those who've asked. I realise this will disappoint people and I'm sorry, but I hope you understand. Hopefully, he'll go eventually and I can try again - perhaps when SHADA has been published and received properly?
